All around this little building, a giant condo complex will spring up. But the owner of this little townhouse wanted more than the developers were willling to spend, so he's still there, waiting to open his pizza place.

Acc'g to an interview in the Post, the reason the guy refused to sell is b/c he's an architect and the developers refused to let him be the architect of record for their condominium. Positively asinine, yes. The man is in his late 60's and could have retired with millions to spare. Instead, he'll be making pizzas...with his architect's license hanging on the wall.
